I was asked to write an article for Catalogue Magazine about 'beach goth', the aesthetic that's empowering naturally pale people to feel comfortable not conforming to conventional beauty standards, which are both dangerous and outdated.

 

The article was part of a partnership Catalogue had with the New South Wales state government initiative Pretty Shady, which works with the NSW Cancer Institute to encourage young women to be sun-safe.
