Lyrics As Poetry literary journal, Volume 3
I was asked to contribute to the Los Angeles-based literary journal Lyrics As Poetry, which features original prose from writers along with lyrics from songwriters.
The theme of Volume 3 is love, so I was asked to write about a song that resonated with me that loosely shared that theme. I wrote about the song "Faceshopping" by the electronic artist Sophie, and how her lyrics encourage self-love.
The journal is print-only, but you can purchase a copy on the Lyrics As Poetry website or in 25 bookstores across the US.
