I met some of the most interesting people
of our whole three-month trip across the
USA in 2012 during the first few days, in South Central Los Angeles.

 

Catching four buses for two and a half hours from Inglewood to Santa Monica Beach may have seemed like a dodgy idea initially, but the people we encountered along the way made it a great adventure, and changed
my impressions of the city.
