When I was in the last year of my communications degree studying journalism at AUT University
I interned at Real Groove and Groove Guide magazines. I went on to write for them on a regular basis. This is the first music feature
article I ever wrote. It is about Palmerston
North, New Zealand band Cortina and it was for Real Groove’s August 2007 issue.

 

I interviewed band members Ace and Bek over
the phone while they were in the US, and also talked to Fiona Campbell of the Coolies and
Sean O'Brien fromThe Livids about the band.
