‘PSUSY’ is New Zealand’s Answer to ‘Broad City’

PSUSY is a hilarious web series that confronts everything from workplace discrimination and reproductive rights to female sexuality, with the aim of making young women feel less alone.

I interviewed the show's creator, US-born, New Zealand-based actor and writer Jaya Beach-Robertson, about the importance of accurately reflecting women's lives on-screen.

In a time when some people still consider periods taboo and women’s reproductive rights are being stripped away, realistic depictions of female sexuality are important. PSUSY not only achieves this, but does so with gut-busting humor.
