Trixie Mattel Cements Her Legacy With a New Documentary
I interviewed Brian Firkus, AKA Trixie Mattel, for i-D about the documentary Trixie Mattel: Moving Parts, which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival.
The film follows the drag queen, musician, TV personality and cosmetics mogul as he navigates personal and professional challenges, including winning season three of RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars.
We discussed dreams, resonating with people who suffer from depression, and why Firkus will continue to be DIY even though he's now attending lunches with the likes of Oprah.
